Fly fishing report for the 4th of July, 2010

Yesterday was a very good day on the water. We landed many nice rainbows in the 12 -17 inch range. We actually had some rising fish,they were on Potamantis (sp) Distinctis and sulfer spinners. For such a hot day we had very good action.

I suspect with the forcast for air temps in the 90's the White river will be off limits very soon. If you must fish, start early and finish early or start near dusk and fish until afterdark.

This is when the upper Connecticut river starts to really heat up. Who wants to go for a couple of days? Anyone? I have all next weekend open. Give me a call and lets get up there.
